This is my attempt to consolidate a lot of the answers I searched for when I started out plus tips learned from playing, to help other new players acclimate to the game.
Starting out, I wished for a good beginner’s resource that went beyond the content of Crate’s Game Guide. There’s a fairly steep learning curve to get into Grim Dawn (as far as min/maxing and understanding builds and the more subtle game mechanics) and I was fairly bemused when I started, despite an extensive background in Diablo 1-3.
